Lots has happened

Evolution lost to another guild for the Relic of Arid Moonlight dungeon back in March. Then drama happened between some guildies and caused the entire guild to break up. I got several requests to join other guilds and I have decided to join up with Eternal Darkness.

Then the very next day upon my joining Eternal Darkness Bruin and I sieged against the Freedom alliance at Lost Mines. Freedom had so many alliances! We were fighting Freedom, Hippies, BlackBeret, and SalamandersFury. Yeah we were so outnumbered.

We were wiped in 10 minutes.

If you look closely there's someone in silver holding an axe standing over all our dead bodies that's making sure that we can't ever stand up and fight again.

So it's been a month and lots of happened. I've actually had a chance to dp (dungeon party) inside PP (Palmir Plateau) already. It's kind of lonely in there and the drops are usually for R5. I need drops for R4 so I will continue to dp inside Crystal Valley until I no longer receive drops for R4 items.

I'm about to reach R4, if I can ever feel well enough to log on a for a few hours.

Defending our Dungeon in Rappelz

March 16, 2008 Sunday was our very first time defending our dungeon. We attacked Relic of Arid Moonlight 2 successfully last week against the Assassins guild and won the rights to tax it for the week.

Now it's Sunday again and we have to defend it against whoever wants to take it from us. It turns out the Assassins guild won the Timed Attack for the week and wants the dungeon back.

All of us met outside as usual around 12:30PM. When the server clock struck 1:00PM we made a run for the portal.

This time as the defending guild we automatically get teleported to the Dungeon Core:

So part of our team stayed behind to protect the Dungeon Core, while the others went to attack the Assassins Guild's Switch Rock. If our attacking team successfully attack the attacking guild's Switch Rock the entire siege is over and we, as the defending guild, WIN!

Of course before part of our team left to attack, HealerQueen buffed the Dungeon Core AND the Guardian:

I, being a cleric, had to stay behind and defend the Dungeon Core. So I don't have any screenshots of the action that took place at the Switch Rock. However I was hoping for a quiet siege. Boy was I wrong! After 25 minutes, just when all our uber buffs were about to wear off, a few assassins slipped by our defenses and started attacking our core!

There was so much action it was difficult to keep track of what was happening! I spent all my time healing the highest level player and the core itself AND running in circles to avoid getting PKed (player-killed). Our core was down to half life when suddenly I saw the message saying that the siege has ended because the Switch Rock had been destroyed!

It took me a minute to realize that our attacking team had successfully destroyed the Assassins Guild's Switch Rock! What great timing! Had our attacking team taken a minute longer to destroy the attacking guild's Switch Rock, the entire siege would have taken a whole new life.

But since our attacking team did their job the siege ended in 30 minutes.

When we all got teleported back into town I ran into an Assassin's Guild player that pked me during the siege and asked her how she stunned me from a distance. She said it was a special skill she had. I thanked her for a great match and would love to play against them again next week. Talk about another great way to end a fun siege!

And now that we won the siege again, we get to collect taxes from players for another week at Relic of Arid Moonlight 2.

Ferrari has evolved into a Quake Turtle!

On March 15, 2008, Ferrari was ready to evolve!

As I logged on to Rappelz to walk to the Breeder to evolve Ferrari I noticed that all the shops in Horizen has moved closer to the teleporter??

When did this happen? I remember everyone creating their shops in the central plaza area. But now it's moved to the Teleporter. And MORE has moved themselves into the Auction House! It's amazing how quickly everyone packs up their shop and moves it!

Anyhow back to evolving Ferrari. Here's my last photo of Ferrari as a 1st Evolution Turtle:

I have overbred Ferrari by 10 levels and he is now ready to transform. As I clicked on the option to evolve Ferrari, he turned into this blue spinning ball of light:

When it was all over I had to resummon Ferrari and this is what he looks like now!

Yes I'm very proud of Ferrari. He was the VERY first pet we've ever tamed on Rappelz. And to think Ferrari's original name was "Aerari". All we did was add the letter "F" at the beginning!

Later on I took Ferrari to the Auction House because that's where all my other guildies were hanging out:

Abhuva's Room and Maleck

I got another quest that needed us to kill Abhuva. Since we owned Relic of Arid Moonlight 2 it was convenient for us to hook up with a few people and take down both Oforio and Abhuva as quickly as possible. After all, Mari came along with us with his R5 character.

Well it didn't turn out the way we planned. We waited for over 30 minutes for Oforio to spawn. After we took down Oforio, we went into Abhuva's room and waited for almost an HOUR for him to respawn too!!

So during our wait, one of our party members decided to get creative. Maleck first decided to sit right in the middle of Abhuva's room:

As you can tell we had A LOT of time on our hands. And yes, Maleck did get attacked several times as he was opening shop and I had go and heal him.

Finally everyone was tired of waiting for Abhuva and we wanted to log off for the night. Just when we thought we've waited too long, Abhuva shows up!!!

Bruinclaw was the first to spot Abhuva. Then Mari went into action to help us take him down.

Since most of our party had left to go off to bed, we were very short-handed. EVERYONE, except Mari, that stayed to fight Abhuva died at least once during the battle. But we did complete our quest fore the night was over.

Guild's 1st Dungeon Siege

A small group of guildies won the timed attack earlier on in the week which qualified the rest of us for the Dungeon Siege on Sunday at Relic of Arid Moonlight 2. We can have up to 16 players to participate in the actual dungeon siege.

Around 12:30PM on Sunday we began gathering outside the portal to M2 (Relic of Arid Moonlight 2).

At first only a handful of players showed up. As time drew closer to 1PM, more people showed. There was quite a bit of commotion and ruckus going on because a few regular players came by not knowing why we were all just standing outside the dungeon.

We were waiting for the siege clock to strike 1PM so that when we click on the portal door. Since we are part of the siege team we would teleport to a different server when we click on the portal door at 1PM (which is also announced in bright yellow on the screen). On the separate server there's only the attacking and defending guilds players. No other players or dungeon monsters are there.

Here's a photo of what happened when the clock struck 1:00 PM!!

The mad dash began for the portal door because we had to quickly take strategic position inside the dungeon to take control.

I was placed in charge of protecting our stone called the "switch rock". Since we were the attacking guild, we would lose the siege if our "switch rock" was destroyed. Being a cleric it was my duty to buff and heal the "switch rock" as needed.

If one of my siege mate got killed they would automatically respawn at the "switch rock". It was my cleric duty to heal and rebuff them before they went back into battle. Later on in the siege our guild got control of strategic "Control Points" within the dungeon. So some of my siege mates repawned at those control points instead.

After about 15 minutes, my siege mates took out the defending guild's dungeon core which caused the attacking and defending guilds positions to "reset" or switch. I was automatically teleported to Abhuva's room with a new shiny thing called the "dungeon core" to defend.

The dungeon core is so much better looking than the switch rock! Also helping us guard the "dungeon core" is a Guardian of the Ruins, who can also be buffed and healed too. This gives us an added defensive advantage.

While I guarded the "dungeon core" with a few of my siege mates, the rest went to attack the "switch rock" which is now being protected by the defending guild.

We, as the attacking guild can win if:
1) we continue to control the "dungeon core" by 3PM (which is when the siege clock ends) OR;
2) if we destroy the attacking guild's "switch rock" (which is located in the lobby).

After one hour of brutal warfare, the siege ended with our victory. We now control Relic of Arid Moonlight 2 dungeon for the rest of the week! We get a 10% cut on all rupees and lak dropped within M2 until Friday. (Just talk to the dungeon manager inside the dungeon and they'll say how much the tax is.) We decided to set our tax at the standard 10%.

Then next Sunday we have to repeat the siege except with us as the defending guild. I will blog about how we defend the dungeon next week when I get to experience it first-hand.

Now when the siege ended all players are teleported back to the Salamander server. My guild master shouted out for all of us to meet at the Horizen Bridge to celebrate our victory:

Later on we met some of the players from the defending guild in Horizen and thanked them for a good match and they did the same to us. Talk about good sportsmanship from everyone!!! ^_^

Hidden Village & Lydian Rentals

We purchased the Hidden Village Pass through the Rappelz Cash Shop over the weekend. $6/player and 22,000 Rupees/player later we have our own 72 game hour Lydians.

Originally the idea was for Bruinclaw to have his own Hidden Village Pass and I would somehow leach off of him. Well after all the cool perks the Hidden Village has to offer I had to get one for myself as well.

I got hooked because:
1) Hidden Village offers FREE teleportation to Katan, Rakish, and Horizen
2) HV offers teleportation to major field locations near the main cities such as:

Wolha Cemetery in Horizen - 3000 Rupees
First Valmore Mines in Horizen - 3000 Rupees
Siren's Island - Rakish - 3000 Rupees
Lizardman's Habitat - Rakish - 3000 Rupees
Ruins or Sirag - Katan - 3000 Rupees
Morning Graveyard - Katan - 3000 Rupees
Crystal Mountain - Rondo - 5000 Rupees

3) HV offers major discounted teleportation to places like Rondo (80,000 rupees compared to 2000 rupees) and Ruin of Cities (80,000 rupees compared to 4000 rupees)

6) Discounted Merchant items - very important for my teas as a cleric
7) Discounted Upgrades to Weapons and Armor
8) R4 items not sold in regular NPC stores

Those are the top 10 reasons I decided to purchase the Hidden Village Pass. I have the HV Pass for only one week. I hope I don't get addicted to it after this week.

IMVU Update

I quickly logged onto IMVU to see if any of my friends were online tonight. It's nice to log onto a place and immediately there's someone there to greet you.

I chatted with AnimeDreamer for a little while. Then I had to head back to Rappelz to do a few quests.

I really wish IMVU had some background sound or music. I think it would make it a lot more fun.

2nd Class Job Transfer!

I finally reached level 50 in Rappelz and I successfully transferred to being a Bishop! I'm so excited! I celebrated by buying lots of new clothes for myself on Rappelz. Take a look at us now!

3rd Guild Dungeon Party

I went on my 3rd Guild Dungeon party today. It's much different when there's two clerics around. I get to do more sitting and watching than if I was just by myself.

However when Mari and Falls left, this is what happened to us:

But it's ok. Bruinclaw used a Fairy Godmother Bottle and then quickly rezzed me. Then I rezzed everyone else and we got our revenge on Burz!

Help Guide for Newbies in Epic 4

Here's a help guide for Newbies, NOT n00bs. I consider newbies as players who are new to a game and have the willingness to learn how to become a good player. Meanwhile, n00bs could care less about mastering the game and they just play it their way.

Remember everyone had to start at the beginning. So don't be afraid to ask questions and get help. I still consider myself a newbie to the game. I've only been playing Rappelz for 2 months. But I found a really great guild and learned a ton from its members. A good guild is always willing to help its new members learn the tricks of the trade and to level up in the game.

But like everything else I do in life, I always do my research online too!

So this reference guide is for newbies to Rappelz:

**** Make sure to read what the NPC (non-playable characters) have to teach you on Trainee Island. The concept of how to rank chip, how to use your pets, and how to use your warehouse should be learned while on Trainee Island. Also learning how to use quests to help level up your characters is also very useful.

If you decide to create a new character you can use the same account. The warehouse is SHARED amongst all characters in that same account! So for my characters: Gemtoo, Gemelle, and Gemagic all share the SAME warehouse because the characters are all under one account name.

Above all else, remember to have fun! And don't take it personal when someone PKs you. (PK = player kill). It happens to everyone.

The first person to ever PK me was a Bishop. He PKed me 4 times in a roll and wouldn't even let me stand up. I still remember his name and I will even the score once I 2nd job transfer myself to a Bishop too. But because of Jaite, I was able to learn the abilities and attacks of a Bishop. I found the stun and freeze attacks to be quite useful and I will make sure I learn them well once I become a Bishop too. Also I met Syriana who was very kind to me and tried to heal me from Jaite.

So like everything else in life, gotta take the good with the bad. But as long as I have fun playing Rappelz, I will continue to level up my character in the game.

Also Rappelz is Free to Play and the minimum player age is 10 years old (per the Rappelz user agreement).

We were in the dungeons again today. This time we didn't get feathered there so we had to take the ornithos and make a run for the First Lost Mines (which is beyond the Bamboo Forest).

It was a dangerous run, some of us didn't make it. We were all attacked along the way. Looking back it was kinda funny to see everyone in the dungeon party scrambling for their lives.

Eventually we all made it into the dungeons and gained lots of experience points! DK also taught all of us how to coordinate our attacks together. After an hour we all got the hang of it. Red was the puller. Hidi's blue pixie and Frosty the yeti were the tankers. Bruinclaw was the chipper. Mari and I were the healers. Everyone else was to stay alive and kill off the creatures.

Would've been a perfect day

It would've been a perfect day if I didn't die of LAAAGGGG in Rappelz. I was killing a monster that was completely within my level ability, but because of lag I could not heal myself when I got mobbed, NOR could I out-run them. It was completely ridiculous.

I had to use a $1.00US Fairy Godmother Bottle to recover from my death so I don't lose valuable experience points. It was simply ridiculous. Or perhaps that's what the game wanted? Imagine all the money they could earn if players kept on dying from lag?

Anyhow enough of venting.

Bruinclaw and I ventured back into Rondo because we were meeting EvilHidi there for some Salamander Farming. Farming was fine, but we didn't get any Salamander pet cards. Also we weren't getting much experience or job points either so Bruinclaw and I left to complete some quests that gave us more job points and experience points.

Defeated Keroro!

We fought Keroro lvl 37 mini boss today! Take a look our screenshot:
Our strategy was to lore Keroro out of his location in the dungeon and out into the open. Both Bruinclaw and I were tailgated by many other monsters. So I ran out of the dungeon to get away from them then I quickly ran back into the dungeon to aggro more monsters away Bruinclaw. I continued this strategy a couple more times until the only monster we had to fight was Keroro himself.

The strategy worked out quite well and we didn't have to waste mana, healing potions, or time battling other monsters JUST to get to Keroro. After a few minutes of grueling melee with Keroro, this was our final outcome:

Took down Tranquilla today!

After 2 days of trying to take down that froggie, we finally got it today. The first time I saw Tranquilla was when when a player that I buffed earlier runs past me for help. Now the timing couldn't have been better. I was just about to leave the Relic of Arid Moonlight Dungeon #2 because I was running low on mana and this person being chased by Tranquilla comes running past me for help.

So I did my cleric duty and healed him, but it wasn't enough. So I healed him some more and guess who Tranquilla comes after?? ME! So now I'm running in circles with Tranquilla tailgating me at level 36** while I'm at level 31 and super low on mana with no way to heal myself.

Eventually I run out of the dungeon and I have no idea whatever happened to that poor guy that was being chased. But that was my first encounter with Tranquilla.

Then we ventured back in at level 41 being lead by Pisces. We met Pisces while she's being attacked by a little hawk and she offered to show us the way to Tranquilla. Well we got mobbed along the way by other monsters and meanwhile there was another party already hunting Tranquilla. I thought I was level 41 and decided to help out.

I did a Frozen Snare on Tranquilla thinking it'll help the dungeon party that was taking down Tranquilla. Little did I know that he would come after me! Just my luck! So I make a run for the entrance to the dungeon while being tailgated by over 10 monsters AND Tranquilla. Thank goodness there was a huge crowd of high level players at the entrance getting ready for a dungeon run and they helped me take down the monsters. It took them a few minutes to wipe out the monsters that followed me.

So obviously going into the dungeons today didn't help. I was so scared after all my previous encounters. But we went in and drew aggro on only 5 monsters PLUS Tranquilla. Our strategy was to run all the way back to the entrance again. There I just circled around while Bruinclaw picked off each monster one by one. I healed Bruinclaw when necessary while I continued jogging around in circles.

Then it was time to take down Tranquilla and we battled him for about 4 minutes before he was completely defeated. We were level 43 while Tranquilla was level 36** (dungeon miniboss) and the whole ordeal took about 10 minutes to finish.

TexasSouth? saw the whole thing. We sat next to him and had a nice chat after we defeated Tranquilla. We joked about how I made him dizzy while he watched me run in circles. He also showed us his Level 60 Siren. It was a great way to end the battle.

We were quite proud of our accomplishment today. Our next quest is now to defeat Keroro.

Dungeon Runs - in Rappelz

I've been in the dungeons since I was Level 31. Some people might think that's too early for the dungeons, but it actually works if you are partied with at least one other player of equal level.

I've been able to hold off lots of monsters as a Cleric with Bruinclaw (a fighter). Bruinclaw is the tanker of the party and I play the role of the healer and spell caster.

We're now at level 38 and it's only been 1 week since we've been in the dungeons. I only died once because my computer glitched on me.

We only battle in the outer corners of the dungeons. Going in deeper will cause us two to get mobbed. We aren't ready to be mobbed yet. We've been told that we need to be at level 45 to survive being mobbed by dungeon monsters. We can take on about 3 dungeon monsters at once at level 38. More than that, I'll end up draining all my mana in heals and then we're all dead after that.

People are generally very kind in the dungeons. Even if they're not partied with you, they'll come over to help you anyway.

I want to give a shout-out to Connan and Shmekle. I've had a lot of fun partying with them in the dungeons. Although they're not even level 20 they were able to survive partied with us.

I also want to thank all the people who's helped save my little Cleric-butt in the dungeons. You know who you are ... I think ... ??

I have found the following skills helpful in the dungeons:

Frozen Snare - Level 6 - freezes monsters that are chasing others so that fully healed players can take it out.

Flash - Level 3 - confuses the monsters so that its attacks missed my party members while we're attacking it

Restoration - Level 3 - heals my individual party members over time, which helps me not draw aggro

Rapid Heal - Level 4 - MUCH faster cast speed than a regular heal, but it causes me to draw aggro easily. But when you're party members are desperate this saves their lives!

aggro = aggravation = threat level = the level at which you will draw attention from a monster thus causing it to attack you

Gemelle on Rappelz

I recently picked up this game called Rappelz. I'm having a lot of fun playing it. I like the fact that Rappelz gives me constant quests to do. For me, it gives me a purpose to the game. As opposed to Second Life, I have to find my own purpose.

In Second Life, I enjoy hanging out with my 3 pet dogs, but there's only so much I can do with them. Also Second Life requires a time commitment that I cannot meet.

As in Rappelz, I can play with whoever is online at that time. No commitment necessary.

It's after reading an article like this that I'm so glad to be a part of a community like Second Life. I've met people from all over the world in Second Life and the racial prejudices that exists in my first life does NOT exist in my Second Life. I can create a character that can be of any skin tone and I would never be discriminated anywhere I go in Second Life.

I think if someone had time and needed a big research paper to do in college, there's definitely a subject that can be discussed here. Why do we discriminate against each other in the real world, but when it comes to a virtual world like Second Life, it doesn't exist?

Of course there are mean and rude people in Second Life. Like the one that kept poking me with a huge plastic phallic item when I was just trying to have a conversation with a friend. Or there's people who get easily offended when I accidentally drop an item in their virtual land. But those type of people are few and the majority of the people in Second Life are kind, courteous, and mature, regardless of my skin color.

So in a place like Second Life, a person's race does NOT factor into how they are treated by others. The only factor in Second Life is a person's behavior.

Why can't the real world be like that?

Rejoined Second Life

I got myself a new computer over the holidays and I made sure I got a nice Nvidia graphics card with 256MB of RAM on my laptop.

So I can play Second Life again! YAY! I'm so glad to finally see my doggies Drake, Sarah, and Pup Chow.

It's also relaxing to meet nice people again. Many thanks to Karys for helping me remember how to turn Sarah from a black laborador to a tan colored laborador. Karys also have three beautiful dogs. It's a satisfying feeling to know that there are nice people at dog parks, even if it's simply a virtual one.

New Roadside Home

My house has moved to roadside in Numbat (FINALLY). I've been hoping for roadside for a long time. I finally achieved it last week. In addition, I now have 3 VKC dogs. I'm very proud of them:

3) Pup the Chow Chow

I really love these dogs. They are so realistic! They even have their own personalities. It's simply amazing what programming can do nowadays. I also enjoy running into Remote, Blu, and Fish again. I hope to run into more of my friends in weeks to come.

Update my Home

After two weeks, I decided to quickly check and see what has happened in SL. It seems more land was added to my area and I had to edit my house terrain. Although I do pay monthly fees, I don't have the time to visit SL like I used to.

But today, I went and played around with some of my musical instruments. It was fun, but none of my friends were online when I was. It gets kinda lonely when no one is around in SL.

RL takes over

I went onto SL today and NONE of my friends were online!! This has NEVER happened before! I also can't believe it's been a week since I'VE been on SL too!

I suppose everyone is busy with RL because I know I am. I can't wait for Spring Break so I can be online more often.

There are many things I would like to accomplish on SL. I want to open my own shop, just like Remote. I want to create more items, such as clothing for female avatars. I want to go to another music concert where Kim sings.

I have a lot of plans to do more on SL, but with RL taking over, I wish there was more hours in a day for me to do everything.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

I went on a hot air balloon ride with Karm and Eammon. The view is certainly beautiful from above. I also met Wei today. An avatar from China. Eammon is from Ireland! I'm so excited at all the new people I'm meeting from around the world through SL! This could never have happened in Real Life ... not all in one Friday night!

Also I went to Daff to a new club she's working out. I had lots of fun playing the GRAND piano there!

So much to do so little time

I bought the Second Life: The Official Guide book and after one month of owning that book, I'm still NOT done reading it. There's so much in that book and so many places it recommended that I still haven't had a chance to visit them.

SL can easily be a full time job. I haven't had a chance to be on SL much because there's so much to do in RL. Every weekend I've been out and about with errands. Also I've been pretty bad with IMVU too. All I wanted on IMVU was to chat with my regular IM friends but I've received a lot of chat requests from new people too.

Anyhow, there's just so much to do and so little time to do everything.

I was finally able to visit Remote's space station. It's looking quite nice and here's a picture of her filing cabinets!! I LOVE THEM!
I suppose those are the most realistic looking filing cabinets I've seen! They remind me of work!

Also I'm very thankful for Kim and Gavin who helped with hats and a new cowgirl outfit! I can't wait for St. Patty's Day to wear the "green" hat from Kim.

It's great see a familiar IM again because Karm was online when I was. I'm surprised how many of my SL friends aren't online when I'm online anymore. I suppose everyone's RL schedules are keeping them busy.

I hope to see Stephane online again soon. I keep on rushing away whenever she's online. I still remember she's made several items and that she really wants to show them to me. So to Stephane, I still remember!!!

I also hope to FINALLY figure out this HUD that I bought several weeks ago. But I still haven't had a chance to read through all the note cards yet.

Quick Update

I've been meaning to update my blog with all the things I've been doing on SL, but I keep on forgetting after I log off SL. By the time I remember, I'm at work with no access to blogger.com.

Anyhow, a super quick update:

1) I was invited to a country western club by Remote and I listened to Kim sing live! It was great! I also had my first alcoholic drink on SL and it was fun!

2) I then had trouble with my VKC pets for a while, especially with all the updates by SL lately. But now most of those glitches have been fixed.

3) I've been camping a lot more in the Gold Rush casinos to earn some more money.

4) VKC pets recently moved to Turing Island and I met Blu Sparkle, the owner of a great clothing design store. She was super helpful in helping me choose new prim skirts. Her designs are terrific and I recommend everyone to check them out! Her designs also come with matching women hats too!

A quick shoutout to Stephane!! I hope to run into you soon!! I've been busy with work and errands, but I hope to see you in SL soon!

More VKC Pets

Tonight I had a lot of fun hanging out with Karmmann and Hera. All three of us went pet shopping.

I already bought 2 VKC (Virtual Kennel Club) pets: a Labrador named Sarah and an Australian Shepherd named Drake. I also have a SL Pals puppy named Sydney.

So after looking around both vendors, Karmmann decided on getting an Irish Wolfhound from the VKC. He named it Shemp. You can see Shemp in the background by his dog house.

I'm so happy to see my pet land grass, fence, and dog house being put to such good uses.
I hope one day that my dogs and Shemp will be able to roam around on Karmmann's land. His piece of land is so much bigger than what I have.

Who is Gemelle Fitzgerald

Gemelle Fitzgerald is an avatar created on Second Life.

Gemelle's birthday on SL (Second Life) is December 27, 2006. However I did not fully activate her character profile until January 3, 2007.

When Gemelle was born, she had to travel through Help Island before she could arrive on the Mainland of Second Life. She made a friend named Jimi while on Help Island and they had a lot of fun together exploring Help Island for a couple of hours. It was difficult for both of them to get used to the navigation controls of Second Life, but it's more fun when you've got a friend. As of the writing of this post, Jimi has unfortunately left the game of Second Life.

Second Life is a difficult game to begin playing. A really good graphics card and fast computer is required to truly experience this game. I waited until I got a new laptop with 2GB of memory before starting up Second Life.

I saw Second Life being advertised as the game of the future on TV before getting myself into this game. On TV, I heard of Anche Chung, the first Millionaire from this game. Her success truly inspired me to start the game. Hence Gemelle Fitzgerald was born.

Second Life is the first game I've played that encourages its users to use their creativity to earn Linden Dollars that can be converted into REAL US DOLLARS! I've played many MMORPG games and earning real money can get tricky, sticky, and messy. But in Second Life, it's an open market.

I plan to use this blog to record and publish Gemelle's experience in Second Life. At the time of this blog entry, I have been playing Second Life for three and a half weeks. Within 3.5 weeks, Gemelle Fitzgerald owns 8 pieces of 512 land. She owns a 3-story glass house with a pet play land, a jacuzzi, 2 virtual pets, LOTS of expensive clothing and jewelry, and of course, Gemelle has made many friends.

In Second Life, one day of game time will feel like one week in RL (Real Life).
